Funny you should say, I was in the middle of getting ready to call them, haha. I think I have hit the point of a software corruption/malfunction and something that will require additional research. Thank you very much for your help knottyrope!

I can almost guarantee they are going to tell me to reload the updated OS. Only problem is, since I have the latest version, I haven't been able to figure out a way to do that. Scoured the support forums to find a way to do it manually with no luck.

They gave me the same ideas as previous, and in the end we decided reloading the OS was necessary, which worked of course. Only problem is it took a 2 hour backup of my media and another 2 hours+ reloading the 4500 songs and 5 movies I spent hours setting up from 2 computers and my torch in the first place (and a few too many beers to dull the frustration). Good thing this thing is awesome and has lots of potential to own the crapple ipad!!!
