Can't access Browser Options on Playbook

Has anyone else ran into the problem where they can't access the Browser options on their Playbook?  I used to be able to and the icon is still there but when I click on it nothing happens!

What (if any) error do you get?
Are you connected to a WiFi source? Check your Options > WiFi.

Re: Can't access Browser Options on Playbook

I don't get any error at all.  It kind of blinks and that is it.  Yes I have tried it connected to WIFI as well as not connected and I even tried through tethering.  I can, however, access my bridge browser options but that doesn't help much.

Re: Can't access Browser Options on Playbook

So can you open the browser at all?

Once the browser is open, swipe down from the top bezel to reveal the options screen.

Re: Can't access Browser Options on Playbook

Yes I was able to open the browser and when I swiped from the top to get the options menu, i would click on the options and nothing would happen.  Last night it said I had a software update so I downloaded it and installed it.  Everything is working fine now.

Re: Can't access Browser Options on Playbook

It was for my Playbook. I don't think there was an update but for some reason mine showed there was so I downloaded it and installed it. Previously, I had deleted the NFB app and I notice it is back again. Maybe that had something to do with it?

Deleting the default applications will cause the playbookl to display an update. the update will install the deleted appplications on the playbook
