Can't connect to the BlackBerry World server

It says "BlackBerry World is having trouble connecting to the BlackBerry World server. Verify your network connections and try again."

 

I have recently updated my BlackBerry Playbook. It's.been like this for weeks now.

Any help would be appreciated.

Have you done a reboot of your router?

The Playbook can only do updates with WiFi, or if it is a 4G it will do the updates over the mobile network.

 

If the Playbook does not update, try a re-start. Also check if your router is allowing WiFi access to the net.

 

If you did an operating system update, you may have to go the Identification and re-enter the Playbook's ID and password to allow access for updates and backups to work. The ID is in the main system menu listing.

The PlayBook has been recently updated,
Yes I do have wifi

Yes and sadly it still says that it can't connect.
