Anyone know is there any apps for Playbook can input Chinese or Japanese language easily?

Re: Chinese or Japanese Input apps

As you observed, for now there are no native far eastern language inputs on the PB OS. It seems BB abandoned updating the OS for languages. It is hopeful that when (and if) BB10 OS comes to the PB then they will include these languages.

That being said, there are a few apps found in BBWorld that partly solve the problem (like 'Japanese Keyboard', 'Chinese input)- some are free. In each case there is a so called IME: you type in the app then copy and paste into the web browser or mail program

1) type in the language app

2) press copy text

3) open the app you want to insert into

4) press and hold to show the system menu

5) paste
