Having pretty much the same problem on Q10.
I get a popup that tells me:
"Your account blabla - firstname.lastname@example.org cannot be authenticated with your service provider . Please make sure that the account settings are correct".
Usernames and passwords are definiately correct - this also leaves me with the URL. Also tried a couple of options, with no luck.
Calendar is working like a charm.
Has anybody replied (privately) with any thing usefull so far?

I discovered that you can sync with Zimbra if you select Exchange when you set-up your e-mail account, instead of IMAP, CalDAV and CardDAV.
Once you set-up the e-mail account, you have the option on the PB to sync email, calendar and contacts.
