Everytime I launch contacts on my Playbook it pops up the splash screen and then closes immediately. The contacts on the B Bold is working fine. Other software is working ok, e.g. mail. Any ideas?

Try a reset on the smartphone and on the playbook
On PB press and hold power and volume keys until device turns off and you see a red light blinking. Wait until it starts again.
On the Phone try to remove the baterry.
Before connecting the bridge again be sure to delete the bluetooth profiles on both devices and then try to connect using bridge.
Check if your contacts are there.
