One other suggestion. If your PB is in a case, remove it because some cases interfere with the operation of the buttons. So if this applies, try the procedure over again from the start.

Search the forums for static charging. This will solve your problem.

Use the stack charge proceedure lost at sea gave you..I had the same problem and called support. They gave me the stack charge instructions and it recovered my dead PlayBook. It works try it.

Thanks, but if you followed the thread you would notice that I did, and it didn't work. 

 

However I did call RIM and thy issued an RMA so hopefully that will fix things.
