Desktop Manager "Bypass" for Playbook?

Hi There

 

At the office, I don't have Wifi, but can plug my playbook into to my PC. with my 9780, I get "bypass" mode where my internet/data goes over the PC.

 

With the playbook, it seems that unless you tether to a phone (not allowed with our BES) you need wifi?

 

Is there anyway to access the web/app store when plugged into a PC?

Hello terminalx and welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.

 

Currently, you can only install applications using the PlayBook directly, not using a computer.

 

You can search for applications on the computer or change your method of payment (as shown in KB26621)
