Evernote quits support for Playbook because Blackberry has stooped support

I have been a strong Blackberry user for years.  It is sad that the company has mishandeled corporate decisions and thus caused millions of loyal users to go elsewhere.  I have used my Playbook with Evernote for years.  Recently, Evernote stopped opening and I contacted Evernote Customer Service.  This was their reply...

Greg (Evernote Support)

Thank you for contacting Evernote support, I'm sorry to see you are experiencing issues with your Evernote application.

My name is Greg, and I'll be working with you today.

I do apologize but it is not our decision to no longer support the Playbook.

We still fully support all models still supported by Blackberry.

Blackberry as a company decided to no longer support the playbook a few months ago and so we no longer can either.

I do sincerely apologize, I really hope you continue to use our product in the future.

Best regards,

By throwing their customers to the dogs, Blackberry will never recover.  I will NEVER own another Blackberry product again, not because of design or value, but because they have no concern for their customers long term.

There is a browser-based version of Evernote available, which works on anything.

The sideloaded Android version works well too:

Unfortunately this sideloaded version on this site no longer works.  It is incompatible with the Blackberry keyboard process on the Playbook.
