I was pleasantly surprised to see the familiar phone dialpad when I logged in to my gmail on Playbook. But the Google phone here rang my own phone instead of the number punched in. The RIM cus service says this feature is not supported by the company and tells me to go to the app maker Google. I did so using the "report a bug" under the tools symbol, but....
It could be really handy if I can make hands-free calls on the Playbook as I do on the desktop, free of charge in US and Canada. Has anyone found a way to get the Google Voice to turn the out-going call in the other direction? Or is there a Playbook's own app to make regular phone calls, not the skype type?
Thanks for suggestions.
