Hit the paper clip (wait a few moments), then select documents, then highlight, then tap attach.

Re: HOW DO YOU IMPORT A DOC TO GO INTO EMAIL

To add an attachment to an email you use the paper clip as described above.

To copy and paste text (in an email) tap/hold on the screen where the cursor is and a blue shape will appear. If you touch it, it should become two shapes that you can drag to the beginning and end of the selection you want. Tap one of the blue shapes and it should give you cut/copy/paste options.

You can copy text from a document or web page the same way and then go back to your email to paste it (press the screen where you want to paste, get the blue shape, press it and choose "paste").

Hope this helps.

I just tried it OK . Are these text messages ending in .txt?  They need to have suffix that Playbook will accept as kosher.

You're viewing your SMS text message on the PlayBook?

That becomes an MMS message when you attach a file, and is not supported on the PlayBook (I don't believe, someone show me otherwise).

re: ..doesn't seem to work with text messages

I think .txt files are not supported in Docs to Go for Playbook/Android. They are in Docs to Go iOS apps - but don't know why the difference.

Also, file manager seems to recognize only certain extensions. I have downloaded files from an email only to then not be able to find them through the file manager interface later.
