Not really. I guess you're proposing a workaround. i wanted to get my rogers email straight from my playbook. are you saying that I have to forward it?

I have a GMAIL account which is set for no spam. It is also great if you travel because you can always get your email wherever you go in the world. Works great on the PlayBook.

You can use google Mail Fetcher to pull from rogers email possibley. and then use GMAIL as you main client. once you reply people will know your gmail account change and you wont miss any emails either.

Gmail also has better sync tools and works fast.

I use a Gmail account to access a spammy old email account that was used for program updates that i purchased.

You need to set the Rogers spam filter to delete all spam messages right away.  Perhaps you have it set to wait a week or month before deleting?

Re: I'm a Rogers. customer: spammed

Hi;

You need to log into the Rogers homepage with your username and password.  You should see a mail button and then within the webmail page there is an "options" link.  I don't use the newest webmail service from Rogers so yours may differ.

Checking just now, I see that my spam stays for one week - but I am NOT getting those messages on my playbook - so it could be that your filtering is turned off - or has not been activated yet.

I do not have a webmail account on Rogers, I have a POP3 "pop.broadband.rogers.com", I had to go to one of the Rogers store to get the information on how to set it up in Outlook, and that was years ago

The only way for me to access the Rogers server is to use a E-mail program like Outlook, Outlook Express, Windows Mail, and maybe a kmail, I never tried with this one

Try here:

Your server is the same as mine - pretty sure all customers have access to webmail.

Re: I'm a Rogers. customer: spammed

All I get is a bad imitation of a Yahoo page, but since I do not own a Yahoo account I can not login, and beside we are talking about Rogers, and not Yahoo
