Re: Jump start a PlayBook a knottyrope tip

if you remove the battery and only apply 500 ma of 5v to the right places on the battery it should work

With out me having it to try I can not guarantee anything.

Re: Jump start a PlayBook a knottyrope tip

For those with the newer style playbooks the three connection dots in question are now on the inside of the board connection you need to remove the screws connecting the battery to the board to find these once i Finally found what I thought I didnt have checking with a ohm meter tells me I only have .8v i will charge the battery directly then try to get this thing to boot up.

Re: Jump start a PlayBook a knottyrope tip

Hi, i have important questions. You have all cablce disconnected from motherboard when you plug charger to the PIN?

Or you connect charge when all cable is connected to motherboard?

i left my battery connected to mother board and used a low amperage charger 500ma as the drained battery should never get a high current charge or it can explode. You PM mentioned a 2 A charger and that could be very dangerous to use
