Lock app in portrait mode?

Does anyone know how to lock an application into portrait mode?  I would assume this is controlled in the blackberry-tablet.xml file, but I can't seem to find an answer.  I have a game that I'm designing and it works best in portrait mode, not landscape.

Hoping someone can help!

Re: Lock app in portrait mode?

Hello Bigtatemobile,

To use Orientation Lock

  1. Go to home screen
  2. Position the screen in portrait mode
  3. On the upper right hand side of screen, tap on orientation lock icon, it looks like one square on top another one.
  4. On the dialog that opens up, tap to turn on Orientation Lock, Portrait mode.

Some applications stay in that mode like the browser, Kobo, etc., but another ones like NFS or pictures or clock, won't stay in portrait mode when you open them, i guess they only work in landscape mode. I don't know about the code tablet.xml, that is for developers.
