Messages app won't launch on Playbook

Recently, my Messages app has stopped working. When I launch it, it displays the message, "This application was interrupted. Please close and open it to continue. (30000)"

 

I have reset the device and upgraded to the newest OS with no improvement. 

 

Any suggestions? Thanks!

strange error...... whats the os running in your playbook?

Same here. It just started happening for me yesterday. Before that there were constant pop up for password for one account. Running 2.1.0.1088.

 

The only change I can think of is updated a few apps on Appworld.

 I started to delete my accounts one by one, until I got to one account, then it works again!!!!

 

I am resetting up the accounts now. So far so good.

By the way, I have also took the time to clean up all my email accounts. One of them has over 4,000 pieces of emails...my bad.
