Mini keyboard activates random app when case is closed.

When i leave the mini keyboard power switch on and simply close the case (keyboard faces pb), after about 30 seconds a seemigly random app will activate.

I have opened the case to find the calendar active or a doc-to-go document open. Once, the pb started playing music .

This does not happen if i shut the keyboard power switch off.

I just updated to and it happens with this version as well as the previous one.

This appears to be a bug that should be investigated.

Maybe not a bug. Like there may be random key combination or shortcuts that are being depressed with the case closed. Maybe you need to turn off the keyboard.

electrical noise can do weird things

today while on a land line, the cord was near my Torch and the screen did some weird things while talking.

I would turn it off and call support to have the issu logged in case they dont know about it or maybe they know whats wrong.

i dont have a mini keyboard to test it.

Re: Mini keyboard activates random app when case is closed.

This is happening with my wife's playbook, with the mini keyboard.  I don't think any keys are depressed. I look inside the PlayBook /keyboard combo via the small crack, and can see apps opening and closing at will.  I don't think it always did this. It came to my attention when the PlayBook was running out of power prematurely. So the solution would be turn off the keyboard when not in use?
