Re: My 2 day old Playbook not getting ON

Charge it for 30 min. then on Playbook press power button and both Vol + - buttons for 10 seconds to reboot it.

try above a few times and it should turn back on if battery is depleted

I know you said charge for 12 hours, but the battery circut does not engage if battery is depleted and the above usually works.

I have to do this on my kids playbook once a month, they never turn it off or shutdown apps;

Re: My 2 day old Playbook not getting ON

Last two days I have been taking up this issue with BB support team. They have advised for stag charging - eight cycle of 2 min charging and 30 sec break and after that 4 hours deep charging. This could not yield any result. They are trying to resolve it some other way.

They have advised that charging of playbook has to be always in ON condition for quick charge. When the battery goes below 40%, we must keep it for wall charge to prevent decay of battery to minus level.
