Re: My computer doesn't recognize my blackberry

Are you using the supplied USB cable?

Do you have the BlackBerry Desktop Software or Link installed on the PC?

Re: My computer doesn't recognize my blackberry

I do have the blackberry desktop soft ware download and I am using the usb connection that was supplied with the machine.  Sometimes I. Get a message saying my machine must be low on power or still powering up. Even though it is fully powered

Re: My computer doesn't recognize my blackberry

That's referrring (likely) to the USB port being low powered.

Try another USB port.

Re: My computer doesn't recognize my blackberry

Ok, well the low power message is related to charging anyway, nothing else.

Read this:

Playbook cannot be accessed as a network drive when connected to BlackBerry Desktop Software

"BlackBerry Desktop Software cannot communicate with the connected device" when attempting to connec...

Re: My computer doesn't recognize my blackberry

What about those methods is not working?

You can't say "doesn't work" without some explanation or detail, I have no idea what you did and where the process failed.

Re: My computer doesn't recognize my blackberry

[ Edited ]

first  i am try by removing the playbook desk top and then putting it back on the computer and seeing what happens

that did not seem  to make any difference

i tried to use different  usb ports  and that did not seem to make any difference

both blackberry desktop software and blackberry link are both installed .

my phone is set up as drive z

how can i set up my playbook under a different drive

I am able to back up my blackberry on the computer but when i try to go to files that is a trouble with the connection

you have not configured any media or organizer data for synchronization
