What state is the Playbook in right now, not working or working and freezing up?

The playbook is working and not freezing up all the time anymore.I can go in and out of apps now without a problem. It froze up twice trying to get the update 2.1.0.1917 os in. I can not complete the os download it hangs up @ 22mb of   29 mb the same spot everytime.

PB responsiveness can be very dependent on having a good solid wifi connection.

 

Check that it's not your cable modem and/or wifi router repeatedly resetting or channel hopping that's causing the problem. When my ISP repeatedly tries pushing new firmware onto their cable modem for hours on end, the PB's and other wifi devices definitely struggle to deliver anything like a smooth Internet experience. Ditto if I have auto channel select enabled on the wifi router. Set a fixed uncontested channel if possible.

 

Once those devices have settled down, all returns to how it should be. Smiley Wink
