Need help with Factory Resetting

Hi, my playbook wouldn't charge, I'd tried stack charging, hard resets etc, none of it worked, so this morning I've tried factory resetting. I can't complete the factory reset because my playbook won't turn on for me to enter my password.

What are my options?

Do I even have any now?

Help would be appreciated, I really liked my playbook Smiley Sad

Re: Need help with Factory Resetting

Leave it connected to the wall outlet charger for several hours.

With it still connected to the charger, press and hold the single power button about 20-30 seconds

You should see the red LED and soon the screen rebooting.

If not, keep it charging and try the above again.

Re: Need help with Factory Resetting

The playbooks been on charge for at the very least three days straight, with me trying different techniques to get it to try and charge, holding it for 15 seconds, then one second off, then one press, holding for 30 seconds, waiting for red LED then leaving it to boot up.

Unfortunately I've tried the above several times over the past week with no change.

Re: Need help with Factory Resetting

Will you clarify that you've tried it still connected to the charger?

Re: Need help with Factory Resetting

The next thing I'd suggest is to get the magnetic rapid charger from Amazon, it's worked for many.

About $14 USD, http://www.amazon.com/Blackberry-Rapid-Travel-Charger-Playbook/dp/B004XBZ728
