No country showing on BB agreement page during set up_stuck!

I bought my blackberry from staples and iam attempting to use it in Nigeria. I set up the wireless using my home connection but  when i got to accepting the blackberry agreement I see there are absolutely no countries in the drop down list! Obviously I am stuck and the nearest staples store is a 7 hour flight time away.

 

Am I snookered or is there a way I can get past this?

As far as I know you will have to go to a country where the BlackBerry PlayBook is officially available.

I'm sure this is too late to help GeorgeAK but here is what worked for me:

 

1. Made sure was connecting to wi-fi (apparently this is another issue people have)

2. Turned PB off (press power, volume plus and minus buttons all at the same time, then select Turn Off)

3. Connect to my PC, which already has blackberry desktop software

4. Watch for message about not being able to connect to PB -- click "Update" when the option comes up (not Retry or Cancel)

5. Let it update.

 

I had trouble initially because I kept doing step #3 with the PB on. It had to be off and stay off during the process.
