Hey Guys,

Since Last Night (I'm GMt+8).

We finally got the OS 2.0.

As my expected there is a lot of bugssssss as usual software.

I want to build up a thread here for blackberry can easier to handle them.

Also I hope if everybody found the issue just append this thread. That make us can centralize the problems.

Issue :

1. The Email Time is not showing correctly in all email client. (Sent By Native Email Client)

I've sent got a email when I just the update.

I(The receiver) found that the Time is showing GMT Time in his email client (He is using Thunderbird).

So, I've sent an email to myself. And proved.

Here is the email header. (Sorry Something Masked Smiley Wink )

Return-path: <MASKED>
Envelope-to: MASKED

by MASKED with esmtpa (Exim 4.69)
    (envelope-from <MASKED>)

Content-Type: text/html; charset="utf-8"
MIME-Version: 1.0
Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable
X-Mailer: BlackBerry Email (

Subject: Testing email
X-Priority: 3 (normal)
X-MSMail-Priority: Normal

The Issue should be related the Header "Date: Wed, 22 Feb 2012 01:52:56"

Please fix it.

2. In normailly. The Playbook Native Email is unable to sync the IMAP folders.

Details :

In typically. A lot of IMAP users is created a lot of Email Folders in their mail box.

However, the playbook is just able to sync the Inbox. This is sad ;(

However The Gmail is able to do this. Gmail is able to view the subfolders in the Email box.

3. We are glad to have the Contact and Also it can be sync with Google (Wow). However It can't sync the contact is not in "My Contacts".

Details :

The Contacts outside the Groups "My Contacts" is unable to sync to Playbook

Re: OS Issue List

I agree.

There needs to be a way for users to create folders to sort their mail.  Just having 1 inbox folder is insane.  You wouldn't do it on your desktop so why on the playbook?

Also, there is no native way to sync the contacts and calendars from a BB Bold.  I had to sync my calendar with a gmail account and sync that way.  I have to manually enter my contacts.

Re: OS Issue List

Hi, I like to add some of my issues with the new OS.

1. Wifi not as robust as before - it now keeps dropping connection.
2. Screen seems less sensitive and gestures less responsive - it now takes several attempts to get gestures to work.
3. The PlayBook seems to be generally slower and less responsive than before update.

It's not all bad though, new keyboard is much better than the old one. New layout (after getting used to it) is quite good too.

Re: OS Issue List

The contacts setup just doesn't work, and linking to the Bridge apps isn't there either.
