OS 2.1.0.1314... So far, AWESOME and smoooooth!

No more "Hick-ups"!

So far... EXCELENT and Smouth!

And no more "Wi-Fi" mumbling!

(I check and DOUBLE-CHECKED as much as I could in two hours!)

Note: After  the mandatory "Restart" you might have to restart once to be able to delete e-mails (on older tablets! I have an old one and a four months old one with perhaps updated hardware.)

YES, I AM VERY HAPPY NOW!

 "Way to go RIM!” Congratulations!

Konstantinos, if you are saying that (as developer) it is reassuring... Thanks!

Looks like "there is a Santa after all!" and this year we got an early Christmas present!

Re: OS 2.1.0.1314... So far, AWESOME and smoooooth!

I would like to flag up that I am disappointed with the upgrade. This is because I use my tablet frequently to access a real time chatrooms on a social networking site I visit. It worked perfectly before. IMMEDIATELY on installing the upgrade it ceased to work. As far as I was concerned the ability to use this chatroom confirmed the tablet's superiority - an IPad cannot do it, for example.

Any help to resolve this issue will be gratefully received!

Re: OS 2.1.0.1314... So far, AWESOME and smoooooth!

Sorry to hear that...

I'm not sure how the "Chat rooms" are working, I can only assume you have to enter credentials and in this case you might have to reactivate your profille with them from your tablet.

Have you tried to restart again, after the mandatory restart? As I mentioned, on my older tablet I had to do that.

Good luck!

The download went okay however the installation CRASHES at the 20% point.  Why is this happening?

Re: OS 2.1.0.1314... So far, AWESOME and smoooooth!

Sorry... I can only speculate!

1. Personally I would "cold restart" the tablet.

2. Is your tablet fully charged? (sort of "dumb" question!)

3. I would try to disable the "antivirus" when downloading the update... I had some real headaches until I discovered that my "AV" was preventing certain downloads (" ich sprache nicht... pa Ruski" sort of!) Good "AV" but can't handle BB.

I wish you Good luck!
