Re: Overdrive installed on my Playbook but won't open

Thanks Lost at Sea; you have been helpful. Perhaps it has to do with a setting on the Playbook. Anyone else out there had had this happen?

I last suggestion. Contact the App Developer. You can usually find their contact info on the same page where you installed the App from. If you find them they will help you.

Type "overdrive" into the forum search. At least one opinion is that you need wifi for it to work. Go to your local coffee shop and get onto free wifi and see it works there

Re: Overdrive installed on my Playbook but won't open

I finally got it to work. I read in one of the forums to press on the Overdrive icon for a few seconds. I did this and all of the icons on my main page started flashing. I released and then tapped on the icon and was able to get to my books. Very weird...

PS.

There is no way to contact anyone at Overdrive. The "contact us" function refers you to your local library. Being that this is a fairly new device, not all librarians are familiar with how to install the software on the PB and don't know how to trouble shoot.

Thanks again!

Re: Overdrive installed on my Playbook but won't open

Overdrive recently updated their interface and there were sporadic issues with downloading. They have resolved it in the last few days.
