Hi there! Thank you for your help. I did what you said and the red light flashed a couple of times and a couple of minutes later the Blackberry Playbook came on the screen. It took 4 minutes but then it started to load everything and is up and running again! Thank You Thank You Thank You!

Now I'm hoping that the upgrade will correct the keyboard problems I was having

I have a problem with my original (not 3g, 4g) Playbook 64gb. 
Since upgrade i cannot buy anything from bb world. 
Free apps download with no problem but paid apps won't download, when i click buy nothing happens. 
I cannot even tap on payment methods but help and age restriction settings work.
Help?

Can you try logging into BlackBerry World from a PC and see if you can login ok and purchase an app?

I can log via pc in but cannot buy because it tells me to go on playbook to pay.

Try a reboot on the PlayBook.
Press the upper right battery icon > restart.
