Re: Playbook Ghost or has a Virus?

Well!  My Blackberry Playbook did the same thing AGAIN!  Just had to debrick it again!  I say it's a Virus but Blackberry says it's a Software Conflict (I say Bullsh*t)

Re: Playbook Ghost or has a Virus?

Virus is still highly unlikely but either way debrick is the cure.

Re: Playbook Ghost or has a Virus?

are you sure its not from an improper grounded neutral on the AC side or a faultt power supply?

There has never been a Virus on a BlackBerry device. you would have a better change at winning a million before getting one

Re: Playbook Ghost or has a Virus?

I am sure it's not a ground fault.  Both times it has started to go haywire when it wasn't plugged in.  I don't know how to explain the way it acts (but to me, it feels like someone is in control trying to open programs, pics, videos, blackberry apps site, etc

Oh well, no worries, it's debricked once again (just a pain in the **bleep** to do)

Re: Playbook Ghost or has a Virus?

If it does it on its own while not being plugged in, there might be a bad capacitor on the power circuit that controls the touch screen. I have read most of the posts here and have not seen this issue usually when unplugged.
