Playbook Storage Space

I have a 64gig playbook. What options on the playbook provide free storage stats? I tried the 'HELP' section but didn't find anything.

Re: Playbook Storage Space

On the Playbook, please look at Options > About > and click on the Hardware dropdown at the top right.

You'll see total storage, Free storage, Total memory and free memory.

Re: Playbook Storage Space

Good day,

I have the same problem noted above. I have about 6GB of music and video files on my 16GB playbook, yet the available storage is only 215mb. Given the OS is 2GB or so, what is taking up the rest of the storage, approximately 8GB. Thanks.

Cheers,

Hugh

A 16GB playbook has about 11 GB of usable space. If it was mine I would back up important individual files by wifi sharing, then Security wipe the Playbook (or even debrick it) and start again. If you use Desktop full backup and restore you may restore whatever is taking up the space.

Becore you do that, install a free file manager like AIR Browser and navigate to Downloads. There could be big stuff in there and as far as I know it needs to be manually cleared.
