Playbook dead

After a year my 16Gb died though it had been working fine three minutes earlier. Battery did seem to be giving signs of wearing out in the few days preceding. Tried everything I could find on this form re rebooting, charging, connecting to computer all to no avail. I don't get any indicator lights. Makes a great paperweight but little else.

Question: is it dead and gone? Can I replace the battery? Would that help? Should I buy an iPhone (much better company support).

Re: Playbook dead

NEVER, NEVER connect to computer to recharge..does not deliver enough power..Use the wall plug charger only..there are many posts on here about people who have drained the battery and trying to revivie it..check the stickies at the top of this page
