Playbook does not synchronize with BB Bold 9700

I bought my PB and all works well minus the BB Bridge. I have tried a lot of times synchronizing PB with Bold 9700 using the Blackberry Bridge App. I receive an error message while connecting it manually + using the barcode.

 

Has someone faced the same issue synchronizing PB with Bold 9700?

 

 

Note: Called support manytimes and till date they don't have any solution. Not sure how long do I need to wait.

Hey EurekaMan,

 

I too had some troubles sync'ing the PB with my BB Bold 9700. What made the difference for me is I set the BB bluetooth discoverable option to "yes". After that I was able to sync OK.

Yeah, it's painful, and takes a while, but it does work. To be honest, it looks worse than it is, although the middle steps (removing certain bluetooth protocols etc) took the longest to work out, but once you can figure that bit, it's relatively easy to do.
