Playbook picture albums

Is there any way to create picture albums on the playbook.  I have over 1500 pictures and they all show up in the camera album.  But when I want to send a recent photo, the picture album opens at the oldest picture, and it is very tiresome to have to scroll through the entire 15oo photos to get to the most recent one.

Re: Playbook picture albums

You can create albums by syncing indiviual folders using desktop manager, however the file broswer ignores these when you attach photos so you will still have the same problem

Re: Playbook picture albums

You create and name the folders on your computer then move them into the camera folder. Then move your pictures into these folders. Connect the computer via wifi or cable.
This has been described in this forum previously.

Show. The adult videos.  They are much better than the business videos.

hahahaha.... maybe you're right, and after that i need to start new business in porn industry

back to to topic.

today i preparing video show case for presentation in one annual meeting of one (specialized) doctor society here in jakarta, and what i did is to rename every single video with ordered numbers (also delete all my porn videos....) and i began to play the first video. then after it ends, the player just stop, it won't start to next video in the row. it is very silly.

and i began to search for video player that has a kind of playing list features in AppWorld, with no avail, not a single video player is there.

my conclussion is PB better video players (playlist, folder (or title or any) selection), along with the picture album as mentioned by thread starter.

Re: Playbook picture albums

You should be able to assemble your videos on your computer, then transfer them to the PB.

yes i know that.

actually there are all from dvd (vob) format, many files, and all individually have been converted to mp4, and for sure i able to combined them into single avi or mp4 or what ever video container, but that is also not a solution because, every single file is on different topic.

i need to play it continously, but i also need to play it by topic.

btw thanks for suggestion.

Re: Playbook picture albums

The built-in photo album capability was just awful in OS1, and just as bad in OS2. (I think this is one reason that the PB has done poorly in the market; they have been nearly clueless when it comes to the wants of consumers. But I still like my PB...  I just get frustrated with RIM's abstruseness at times.)

Here's what I've done:

  • Set up the PB as a network drive on my desktop, then copied photos over, in their proper folders
  • Use My File Manager (or PicSorter) to access the folder system and my photos.

Hope this helps.

i've done that kind of stuff but it didn't help, the picture browser shows the folders correctly, BUT when i need to attach a particular image, i have to dig the whole collection of images on my PB regardless where i have put it in.

anyway, thank you for suggestion
