Playbook

Hi

 

I have just received a New Playbook.

 

Ths screen is frozen with the blackberry logo and the words Blackberry Playbook.The colour of the lights in the background change.

I cannot power it off.

 

I have already gone through set-up and it informed me that I need 20% battery charge to update the software.

Now the thing is fozen.

 

My question is, is the playbook still charging ? or is there a problem.

Charge it for 24 hours and try again. If it is still frozen, try resetting the hardware by pressing and holding the three buttons at the top, volume and play/pause buttons.

Oops, that would be the power button and the two volume buttons for 10-15 seconds.
