I have a slightly different problem than I've seen talked about.
When the window pops up asking for the BBID & p/w, it just freezes. I can only kill it via task manager and there I've seen that it's taking 50% of cpu. Needless to say, I can't actually print.
This is on XP Pro SP3. I have Kaspersky, but it is disabled during install and this phase. I also have Windows Firewall turned off. I've never updated Microsoft Internet Explorer, so it is at version 6. Cookies are enabled. When I install, I always get the Printer window with the error message "Operation could not be completed" but then it says it is installed successfully and the Print to Go printer is available in the Printers folder.

Done this, got to this line:
"You will now be asked to enter your BlackBerry ID and Password on your computer in order to continue."
and here it freezes with 50% CPU usage in task manager. I cannot access the ID & password fields and can only close via task manager.

yup. Even logged on as administrator and closed all unnecessary programs after the reboot. Also used cCleaner after the uninstall. Printer is NOT in Printers folder after uninstall.
After (re)install, the printer always shows up fine in the Printers folder, but even sending a test page ends with the same result.

Both sharings are on in the Playbook. FYI, password protect is also on. Sharing is on in the PC. I can see the folders and files of the playbook in my network connections. I don't know how to see my PC files from my playbook, but I know I can connect, because I use remote desktop app.
