My saved wifi setting would always appear and automatically detect the closest wifi network since I bought the BB playbook.
Since about late August of 2013 or early Sept. of 2013 the BB Playbook once restarted no longer longer remembers any saved wifi network setting.
It does not matter if this a home network with a saved password, an non home wifi with a saved password, or an open network.
Is this a problem with a BB operating system update and if so has anyone found a work around for this yet?
Also if it is an OS update problem when does BB plan on correcting this?
The model I am using is 16GB BB playbook that was purchased in August of 2011.
The current OS is 22.214.171.1243
Build ID 567403
Cyptongraphic Kernel Version 126.96.36.199945
WLAN Version 1.1
Any suggestions would be appreciated on this problem.
I have checked the internet off and on the last few months and have found litle information on if anyone else is currently having this problem and if they have been able to fix it.

same thing has happened to me as of Jan 2014. (Playbook 64gb 2011) Never happened before. only since buying a new router.
It is annoying to have to re-enter password on saved network. Where is the "save password" checkbox??
Can somebody help please??

try deleteing the saved wifi and then adding it back in again

Thanks for the suggestion.
I should have been clearer in my original post as once the tablet has been turned off then restarted there are no longer any saved network settings at all.
Any that had been saved when the tablet was last on have now disappeared.
Any further suggestions?
