I need Skype instant message chat for work - I will try the work around presented by MountainDew and maybe also use the Comwave ePhone - Although this is getting far to complicated and geeky for the general user -
!!!! Blackberry needs to take note if they ever want to come out of the hole they are in.
**** The fact is user friendly big name apps SELL your product !!!

You've posted this in several threads now.
Once is enough. Otherwise, it can be considered spamming.

I must admit, I have been busy posting today and lost track of counts.
I think ComWave ePhone is another killer app like the Osmand. It is a Skype replacement. A lot of PlayBook owners seem depressed and disappointed as there are no Skype. What they don't realize is there is alternative and substitute. It took me a bit of time and effort to find it. Certainly do not expect everyone can afford the same, so I want to share my so call discovery.
Do you know how lack is the search function in the Appworld? If you don't search by the exact name, you can't find them. The relevance search is no good either. These Osmand and ComWave are two of the killers apps and they are well hidden from the Playbook world. So you see why I am shouting from the top of a mountain so fellow PlayBook owners will benefit.
Perhaps I should start a different thread to discuss how to improve Appworld search.
Thanks for reading.

It can call any numbers including landlines, mobile and Skype. What I don't know is if it can video chat and text to Skype user?
If you have friends use Skype, sign up ComWave 's two days free trial. Then you can try out all the combinations. Be sure to let us know.
