Text recognition no longer working in Blackberry Tablet

My blackberry tablet was working fine but now the text recognition is no longer functioning. I have gone to settings, selected keyboard and reset 1) show predictions and suggestions and 2) automatically correct as I type. I have done this several times but the problem remains.

 

Has anyone experienced this problem or know how to solve it?

Mine offen does the same. I find I always have to reboot the machine to get it back.

I have just tried and it seems to have worked. So simple and I didn't think of it before. Your help is very much appreciated.

You're quite welcome. Happy to be of help.Unfortunately since BlackBerry announced they are discontinuing development of the PlayBook the activity on this forum has begun to drop and a few questions go unanswered.
