Re: Transfering videos

If the video files have DRM, then they can not be played unles you use a PC utility to remove DRM

Using the Playbook and the Z10 and the Z30 and loving them

Re: Transfering videos

You can take screen shots of your PB by pressing the + & - Volume buttons.

Then I copy the images to my PC from the PB over the WiFi and attach to my post on the Forum.

What kind of video files are you unable to play in PlayBook?

My movies are DivX/Avi and they played nicely in PB with great images and sound.

Re: Transfering videos

It is a dvd of family guy copied onto the pc hard drive, it shows it as an MP4 file in the Blackberry file structure, it just won't load up when you go to video's.

Re: Transfering videos

how big is this family guy dvd mp4...have you broken it into episodes or did you try to encode the entire dvd into one mp4 file. If the later how big is it. I suspect a file size issue or and error in how you extracted the information from the dvd. Most dvds are copyright protected and you have to disable this using a program like dvd shrink.

Re: Transfering videos

i have played 5.5 gig MP4 vids with out issue, so i doubt that is an issue.

I did have a few movies that would not play and one was corupt, hiccup on PC when launching it.

I suggest start with a known format that works and rip with that format after.
