The USB connection is not working any more. Cannot charge and my PC does not detect the device when I connect the Playbook to it. I got the Playbook last Christmas so it is less than a year. Is the Playbook still under warranty and how can I send it back to fix it.

Call Blackberry support for your area. Look in the support section of the Blackberry site for the information where to call. Some dealers can send back the Playbook for you depending on their policy. Most dealers will charge for the transport and their time to send it.
Before sending the Playbook, try another charger to make sure it is not the charger. Also, try another USB cable. I have seen the cables and chargers fail, and the fault was not the tablet.
The connectors on both the female and male end are easy to damage. Care must be taken when using the connections.
