after the update I have a problem with my mailbox.
PB after about 10 minutes asking me for a password to the Exchange mailbox.
After entering the password is ok for another 10 minutes.
In an earlier version of the application did not have such a case, the password was stored all the time.
Does anyone of you have this problem?

I've about had it with trying this update. I'm willing and open to fuggestions.
Yesterday I I tried upating several times while connected through the desttop software and it would stop on a file during step 2 and stay there. I tried updated over our wifi here at home too. It would download the the 37 MB update and then download a 409 MB update. Then while the installation was proceeding I'd get a message that the update was interrupted and would have to start over. Never would update.
I tried the update again through desktop software. Several times was informed a connection to my playbook was lost and to retry. The update seemed to pick back up. I finally got the message that I had been updated and to disconnect. The unit did not restart, so I restarted it and it still shows the 1088 bundle and wants to update when connected to wifi. This time however it only downloads the 409 MB updated and twice now has told me the upgrade was interrupted on step 2, after the download. GRRRRRR!

If your Blackberry Playbook cannot find your Wifi its probably not set up properly. Check and see if its there in WiFi setup on your Playbook. Click on the Gear right hand top corner it will open up and then scroll and click on WiFi.. Could be its not active. Try activating it again and If you still cannot activate it then do another update. by using Blackberry Desktop.
If you don't have it yet, download the desktop software from Blackberry. Then do an update from the desktop software. That should resolve your problem, Make sure you enter the correct SSID number when setup prompts you to. (Setup always does that)
I have 5 Blackberry Playbooks and WiFi was picked up immediately.

Thanks for the reply and suggestions. I should note that the playbook was working perfectly well in it's wifi until the OS update. However, I check checked the wifi setup. It is on but not connected. My SSID is correctly named and it shows under Available Network but with a red negative sign against it that was not there before the upgrade.
So I have tried to do another update using the Blackberry Desktop. When I go into Deviand and check for Update, I get the message "there is no available software for your Blackberry device". This seems right as I had already got the latest update. The question then is how to reinstall the previous OS to 18.104.22.1684? Any help would be appreciated. As this is only a month old, I did call the technical help line but they are searching for a solution - now an hour after a call and I am not optimistic.

Well try a hard reset. With the PB on and your USB cable connected from your PB to the desktop, hold down the power button and the plus volume toggle at the same time and wait for it to shut off. Wait 15-20 seconds and the power on and it should try to reinsatll from factory default. It worked for me a while ago. This should reinstall up to the latest OS.
I presume you have made a backup of your apps that you want to keep, if not any purchased ones will still be available from the app site just buy clicking reinstall. Hope this helps.
It will take at least 30 minutes or so to do this. Hopefully you have a reasonably fast Internet connection.
