Sorry I mean for converting on the pc.

I don't like things clogging up in folders on PlayBook so I have epub and mobi on PC instead of multiple files on PlayBook

Just realized it is called GO Book - not GoBooks - http://apps.goodereader.com/android-apps/top-android-apps-3/?did=82

and this is a review that gives a lot of screenshots at the bottom so you can get a sense of what to expect http://www.androidtapp.com/go-book/

(it's soooooo not MyLibra!)  Smiley Wink

If they are in Canada - especially Ontario - then OverDrive Media Console is also good to install so that they can borrow ebooks from their local library through the app. They can do a location-based search here to see if it's worth installing: http://search.overdrive.com/ and the app is available here http://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/content/80929/

I've heard that the Moon+ Reader for Android is also very very good but haven't found a Playbook version of it yet to try out.

Good luck! Do post back if you find any that you think worth recommending.

Best..

Thank-you so much everyone! Especially gumnutninja! I sideloaded Go Book from GoodEReader, and it is so far amazing. Really simple to install and use. I highly recommend it! And the best part is - it was FREE!

Re: Using Playbook as an EReader. Please Help!

I sideloaded Go Book (1.4?) and it would not import any of my kindle books, nor list any of the kindle files when I tried to import from the directory containing all the kindle books.

It did find a couple of pdf books which, when I tried to open, crashed Go Book.

Great.

Which version of Go Book are people having success with?
