It was a great deal in May 2012 buying a Blackberry Playbook, we had lot's of fun together.
Well, unfortunately in November the USB connector appeared to be defect and I had to return the Playbook to the store where is was bought from. Now after more than 6 weeks the guys at Media Markt (Sinsheim, Germany) keep telling me it is for repair and they don't have any feedback from the repair service centre when the repair is suposed to be finished.
Do someone know where Media Markt is typically sending the Playbook to for repair? I would like to contact them directly hoping to get better answers.

Media Markt should be doing something about this. you should call them and ask for more info and where is it in queue

in general, your Store will send your device to there distributor and they send them forward.
The German law states, that the repair schould be done in an "appropriate time". No direct definition what this means is given, but my experience are no longer than 4 weeks.
so issue them an ultimatum. possible are two more weeks and then you go the next steps.
