What Apps Would You Like To See For The Playbook

I am currently looking at writing some new Apps for the playbook, i have always been a fan of it, think its a lovely powerful machine but i had a debate with 5 other playbook users as to what apps they would like to see i thought i would ask the forum for a general feel as yo what you would personally like to see available. obviously its not going to be an EA Sports game but ciuld be a game or a utility app or anything.

The suggestions so far include certain card games, a mail label printing app, a travel function app, a business game and more... really would like feedback before i start, i just want to please Playbook users no point making an app no-one wants.

suggest anything you honestly would use and want.

How about an updated Bridge app for BB10 devices!

That's interesting because I did miss that function when I moved from Bold to Q10 but I just take SD Cards out and stick it into laptop, had not thought of using bridge to playbook, that could be useful. We're you thinking for transferring images and things?

Umm... you don't know what BlackBerry Bridge is or functions as?

It's not for moving images and media (that's ever so simple with WiFi transfer, no SD card needed, beside the Playbook has no SD card access).

Re: What Apps Would You Like To See For The Playbook

[ Edited ]

No i did not say that, i was trying to establish what function of bridge you were looking for. I used bridge mostly with bold and would happily push my emails and other functions through it, i was upset it was not working like that on Q10 and Z10, however my bridge works for connecting to my data plan on my Q10 etc... So i ask again what actual functionality are you actually wanting out of the bridge?

The blackberry bridge best functions i thought were:

Connect when not on wifi, this still exists!

Access email, contacts and calendar - this no longer is possible on current bb10 phones.

Bbm access - miss this and again not on current bb10's

Photos and File sharing - missing and again not on current bb10's

I know alot more functions, but i wondered what ones you really used and miss.

Re: What Apps Would You Like To See For The Playbook

All of those will be great. No need to limit the functions if you can build a full function Bridge, great!

Re: What Apps Would You Like To See For The Playbook

A real coaching app would be much appreciated.  All the one alread offered does the samething... designing drills.

We (the coaches) need more than that, we need something to allow us follow and take note, comment our teams/players/coach.

Re: What Apps Would You Like To See For The Playbook

What type of death would you like with this app, how much comment, what are you looking to achieve. I run a couple teams and I have to say have not considered an app so this is very interesting for me, I really would appreciate what deep down the ultimate coach team app would have. Do you want it linked to a website too or just be data driven from within the tablet etc...
