Where is the Email, calendar and contacts?!

Just bought a Playbook 64GB... But i guess RIM made some strange decisions to skip some basic application?

Where is the PIM apps?

Re: Where is the Email, calendar and contacts?!

Scroll up to the top of this Playbook section and click on the "Get Bridge for your Playbook" and follow those instructions to download and install BlackBerry Bridge on your BlackBerry handheld device.

RIM has not yet released the on-Playbook PIM applications. They are coming soon, we hope.

Re: Where is the Email, calendar and contacts?!

I do not use BB handset so that is not an option.
I was really surprised , this was not clearly stated on data sheets, as without PIM support the playbook will be more or less useless for me.
I guess i need to send it back.
Any date for the Playbook PIM apps to show up?

It may not be clearly stated on any data sheets (I don't know what you read) but these interwebs are FILLED with complaints about the lack of and speculation toward the release of on-Playbook PIM apps.

Yes, AppWorld has some of what you need.

Good luck.

Caveat emptor. Do some research before buying a $700 piece of hardware.

Admin can close this thread,

The Playbook went back due to lack of important functions.

I bought a samsung galaxy 10.1 tab, with full functionality.
