Wi Fi Connectivity

[ Edited ]

While using the internet or attempting to retrieve emails, the system is constantly polling for an internet connection despite the fact that I am no more than 4 feet away from the wireless router. This causes the system to drop the connection and sometimes it comes back but more often it continues to poll with the little green circle going round and round. This very annoying feature spoils a really great little piece of kit. Does anyone have a workaround?

Re: Wi Fi Connectivity

Though your router may be different, read the thread I comment in here with some screenshots to help you check your router settings. Match my settings as best you can with your router.

Also, forum member KnottyRope has a good thread that may help you troubleshoot Wi-Fi drops too http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/BlackBerry-Bold/Netgear-WVPN824-WiFi-issue-connecting-to-BIS-...
