body of messages not showing

After upgrading to OS, only message headers are shown in my playbook POP3 e-mail account, not body of messages.

Error message: "an unexpected problem occurred with (e-mail address). Some functions may not work properly."

It's a pity that RIM doesn't let the choice to the user to downgrade to an earlier OS version that worked without problems for me.

Re: body of messages not showing

I guess you deleted the email account and added it back?  I would recommend deleting all accounts and uninstalling all apps before an upgrade. Then reinstalling afterwards.

Only other option is reload the OS from USB (backup first).

Re: body of messages not showing

I did already a reload ("factory debrick") and also a security wipe, but problem remains.

I observed a strange thing: from 1 sender the body of messages is shown, but not from all the other senders.
