browser lock up

Browser lockup. So using it to browse the internet, all fine then... it locks up. Starts to load a site page, stalls, and then “can't resolve host name”. Check messages to refresh to ensure WiFi connection OK, it is. So what is happening and what is the solution? .. other than restart all the time.

Re: browser lock up

Hi bingocallerb22,

I got the same issue on unstable Internet connection. It seems that the Browser caches host IP. If the Browser can't determine IP, it remembers this in its cache. This is my case, I guess, you've also faced it.
Respectfully,
Oleg

Re: browser lock up

Hi. Well, nice to know I am not the only one!

And the solution is?

(not sure my WiFi is that unstable really, OK for netbook).

Unfortunately, I didn't found the solution yet. If a hostname (web site) is locked up with this message, only restart the Browser helps. I got the issue often with my mobile Wi-Fi router just after it turned on. So workaround for me is wait more time before using the Browser.

Oleg
