Hi Martin,

Did you contacted tech support? What did they said to you?

No I did not, why bother they could not do any thing any way, it is like any thing else, if you lose some thing even a software you have to pay for it again

I just had to pay for my Windows again because I had to re-install and I changed my hardware too often so I used up all the license that were allowed so I had to pay for it again, and it is the same thing for AppWorld, if for some reason there system saw my Playbook or phone as a new device, it does make sense that they charge again

I does sucks but it is life, and all I meant was a warning to other(s) that it could happened to them too

Re: can I reinstall a purchased app?

Martin,

All your purchased apps tied to your BlackBerry ID (not device). So you feel free to change device or reinstall software. You've overviewed abnormal situation. I think that you could return previously purchased software.
Respectfully,

What Martin is describing is NOT the normal routine.

If you delete an application from your device, it will be listed under the 'uninstall' tab of AppWorld > MyWorld, and if not, a reset or cache clear of your MyWorld will make it appear in the list.

An exception to that norm might occur when the user changes devices and the BlackBerryID doe not recognize the PIN change or you've had too many changes over time (limited to five, I believe).

In any case, Martin you certainly should have called your mobile provider tech support on this issue, as they are contracted by you and RIM to handle these issues. Any AppWorld issue they cannot resolve should be escalated up to RIM level tech support.
