charging

I've recently let the power get to 0% on my playbook. Read most things about what to do, stack charging, turning on for or off for 20 secs etc.  Made the mistake of trying to download new OS with less than 20% battery. When I charge up I get the red light, then the pulsing green/yellow light. It will do this for half an hour or so then boots up. The charging light goes out when it boots and screen comes up battery level crittically low 0%, software will upgrade when level is above 20%. I take it its not charging when an LED isnt showing. Tried leaving it on all night but still the same. Used a rapid charger and the standard.
