Printing appears to be limited to the 1 app at the present.  It appears that we will be relying on a 3rd party developer

There is a free app for that, called PrintTool. It was developped by the same person who released the "comic sans browser" for the PlayBook.

Is there not a CUPS protocol setup for the playbook as it is a form of unix (QNX). Surely someone has attempted this as a printing solution. I have done it for Debian, but with guidance. Is there any guidance for bb?

Printing from the PB is a challenge, as is most tablets. I use an HP3520 that has  Airprint built in, or another title is ePrint. The printer setup leads you to setup an email address through HPs servers. You send your documents to the e-address and the printer, which has to be connected to your network, prints the document.

thanks for your comment, MountainDew. Do I understand that using the HP ePrint service, printing from the PB is very easy and not a challenge at all?
