how to install our anroid app (apk) from desktop or our webserver without bb market

we have a home grown app that we wrote and have 2 flavors, a android and bb version

neither of these is deployed via the markets, we just give our internal customer/users a url

or a server where the android apk and bb jad files are.

if I have the android app player installed on my playbook,

is it possible to install our android app version from the server also

by pointing it to the apk file, or maybe from my desktop where my apk file is?

the android version of the home grown app is significantly better than our bb version

so i would rather run the android version assuming it runs okay, and I wanted

to see how it runs so that is why i am posting this
