new Playbook does not start up

i just bought a Playbook from Walmart.

The screen is black. When I charge it a red light stays on for a few seconds then turns white.then goes off  (all in a few seconds)

 

Can anyobne help me start this new machine?

Has anyone received a broken machine from Walmart

BB custome\r support say I am not entitled to any free customer support!

Is there any notification when using charger to charge PlayBook ??? Could you describe it detaily??

Thanks for your reply. After hours of pushing buttons it finanllyt came opn and seems great. I bought it from Walmart.com. The seals on tghe box were open and only the PB was in the box, no manual, no earphones, no nothoing.

Do you think someone at Walmart drained the battery?
